26 Jul, 2025The Unfinished Chapter Called “Mentors” I don’t quite remember the exact date of our very first class in the After SSC Spoken and Phonetics Course. Strange, isn’t it? Time usually blurs memories into indistinct shapes, but those two and a half months remain etched in my mind with a sharpness that defies forgetfulness — like ink bleeding through paper, impossible to erase. Our instructors didn’t just teach us how to speak words; they taught us how to express the unspoken, how to connect beyond language, and how to believe — believe in ourselves when we couldn’t even hear our own voices clearly. The skills we learned — speaking, communicating, presenting — were never just lessons. They were revolutions within us. But more than the lessons, what struck me was how they were taught. The instructors at Mentors were unlike anyone I had ever encountered in twelve years of formal schooling. Gentle, humble, patient — they were not merely teachers; they were companions on a journey of transformation. Each time we hesitated, they stepped in with quiet strength. Each time we faltered, they lifted us up with unwavering faith. They told us, "Not to yell or buckle when faced with the cruelty of this world. Because we push forward, we scream out, we rage" They didn’t just clear our doubts — they dispelled the thick fog clouding our minds and souls. Among them, one stood out like a radar guiding a ship through a storm. Our Language Club instructor Audri Noushin Shifa — to me, she was more than a mentor, she was like an older sister. I cheekily called her “aunty,” just to tease her. She’d pretend to be annoyed, but never once did she scold me. Instead, she helped me face my deepest fears and anxieties — fears I didn’t even fully understand myself. I arrived as a timid boy, voice barely audible, burdened by uncertainty. But through their guidance, I found strength. I found clarity. I found me. I found my lost confidence. Now, I speak without trembling. I deliver impromptu speeches, hold eye contact with strangers, and walk onto any stage with my head held high. That — to me — is nothing short of a miracle. Our Language Club was more than just practice. It was a playground for the soul. From mock travel agencies and auctions to crafting advertisements, cultural programs, and spontaneous presentations — each activity was a page in a story we wrote together. One day we were selling a supermarket experience; the next, advertising a dream. It didn’t feel like a class. We felt so comfortable that it felt like family. And then there was Sabika Rahman Miss, our spoken English instructor — a force of nature who lifted even the quietest, most hesitant voices. Her influence was so profound that even "Kokhujo Thengen Miyuho" looked minuscule in front of her knowledge. Even the softest voices found thunder under her teaching methods But here’s the truth: I never planned to join Mentors. I was dragged to a seminar by friends, skeptical and reluctant. But something — call it fate or fortune — shifted inside me that day. At the seminar’s end, I learned I’d earned a massive discount for being the topper of my class. But the most important thing that forced me to join mentors was a mocking comment from one of the guardians which is " You got only 7 my son got more than you and he was in the other class if he had been sitting in your class you wouldn't have been the topper." That was the thing which triggered my ego to join mentors and crush everyone especially his kid and be the one who stands above all. So from that first moment forward, I made a silent vow: I would stand above fear. I would speak first, volunteer first, lead first, be the first "MC," be the all time best leader of the language culb, would score more than that guardians kid. And I did. When others hesitated, trembled in fear, I stepped forward. I faced my anxiety, not because I was fearless, but because I refused to be its prisoner. Even in our 50-mark final presentation exam, I raised my hand and went first — heart pounding, but resolute. And I did the same thing again and again till the last day of my staying in mentors. Some might ask, “You used to have a soft voice — how did you transform into the confident speaker you are today?” The answer is simple: Mentors made me. Those two and a half months gave me more joy, confidence, and purpose than twelve years of traditional schooling ever did. Yet, like every great story, there’s a bittersweet note — my only complaint? The classes were too short. Two and a half hours felt like a glance of eye. Even if they were ten hours a day, I would have craved more. That’s the magic of Mentors — they ignite a hunger for learning that never fades. It's like, having an "Adoula-link" with the instructors and all the students. Moreover I felt like having an "Adoulabrust". Now, you may ask what is an "Adoulabrust?" It's the purest form of fire that can burn the whole world into ashes. In a word the hunger of learning felt like—Shikiguni Genriyu Sai Yamamoto's Bankai " Zan- Khano- Tachi." Even after a decade I will tell my future children about Sabika and Shifa — two extraordinary souls who sculpted my spirit like Urahara's " Khannomn Birakhi Benihime Arathame " I will tell how they turned a shy boy into a speaker, a thinker, a doer. They are one of the best people I have ever met in this worldly life. But here's where the story really begins... Because this is not just my journey. It's yours too if you dare to take the first step, if you dare to risk it all for your better future, for the utilization of time, To be a speaker, a thinker, a doer. To all my juniors, I say this with the deepest sincerity: After your SSC exams, give yourself the greatest gift — the gift of transformation. Join the After SSC course. Let it be the unwritten chapter that rewrites everything like Ichibe's Bankai , "Shinchui Shirafude Ichimonji." Because some chapters never end — they only lead you to the next page. And trust me, the next page? It’s wait..... "Ikhiyu Kiuka Suigetsu" If you have read all the text above then congratulations. Simply everything went just according to my plan. You are also a part of my plan. You were a sacrificial pawn all along. Thanks for helping me to achieve... . If you want to know about it, let me win the contest and then I will unveil the secret. And thank you again for being such an easy target.
